The Three Weeks and Tisha B’Av

Tisha B’Av is the saddest day in the Jewish calendar when we commemorate the destruction of both the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, as well as other catastrophes which have befallen the Jewish people over the millennia and across world, including the Holocaust. The Three Weeks lead up to Tisha B’Av during which various mourning-like rituals are observed.
